Finnish Trappers Hat

Such a quality item that everytime I pull it on a wee happy sound sighs out of me. A present from an Uncle, it’s been with me for year now and when the tempreature is down, this yoke really delivers the goods in terms of soft breatheable cosiness.

When I’m out for the day I’ll normally have a peaked cap, to keep the rays and midges off my head and also shade my eyes from glare and my glasses from rain when it inevitively falls. I’ll take a wool beanie that becomes progressively thicker as the seasons progress.

When a beanie isn’t going to be enough, this is the job.

Waiting on the camera to shoot a sequence in the deep chill of the night the fur around the face traps warm moist air keeping your nose warm and your lips from cracking.
