A saw is the quickest and safest way to fell, limb or section wood.
The Bahco Laplander is well known as a sturdy choice for the keen bushcrafter.
I’ve loved mine for years now, the original blade is still straight and keen.
A quality item, there are sturdier folding saws but they tend to be both weighty and expensive.
There are of course cheaper ‘pruning saws’ available. These are not suited to wood processing and WILL fall apart on you whenever you ask them to eat a bit more than they can chew.
